RESIDENT RESEARCHER

David (he/him) is a creative technologist, software engineer and musician. As a performer he explores systems, algorithms, and live coding. As a technologist he creates interactive experiences often with a focus on generative sound. He is currently a Post Doc Fellow at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, where he is researching ways to repurpose aging and obsolete hardware.

He holds a BMUS (First Class) in Music Composition and Music Technology from New Zealand School of Music—Te Kōkī and an M.P.S. in Interactive Telecommunications from NYU.
