Oscar Durand is an award-winning photojournalist, and multimedia producer in New York City, whose work focuses on the human condition, with a special interest in the causes and effects of displacement and immigration. Oscar is interested in the use of technology to enhance storytelling, fostering imagination, delight, and meaningful connections. Between 2010 and 2019, Oscar was based in Peru and Turkey, working as a photojournalist and collaborating with news and humanitarian organizations directing short documentaries.
