Desigining Living Systems

The resurgence of hydroponic farming has provided us with a unique opportunity to rethink the world. No longer do we need to buy all of our groceries from a brand that ships them across the country. Instead, it can be localized. Hyper-localized, say, in your living room. Indoor low scale hydroponic farms provide year round harvesting for as many plants as you can fit.

User Scenario
For the course of the show, the farm will be running continuously. The back wil lbe removable so people can see what's going on inside. The plants will be installed and the water will cascade from the top basin to the bottom basin. We will also add CFL lights for lighting. The entire design will have an urban feel to them.
