Discover 3D Glitch Photography and get your 3D portrait taken with F1F2.works (AJ LeVine & Pat Shiu)
Description
At the 3D Glitch Photo Booth, visitors can get a unique 3D portrait taken against a backdrop designed to create glitch artifacts.
These glitch portraits demonstrate some of the techniques we use in our 3D photography works [see: http://F1F2.works], which will also be on display.
Shortly after the scan, visitors can view their portraits in an online gallery.
The backdrop itself is made of complex and repetitive geometric shapes which, when exposed to a 3D sensor, confuses the scanning equipment. This results in randomly generated, unique backdrops for each person who sits for a 3D portrait.
