PAO is a fun educational experience for 6th-8th graders to teach them about geometry angles. It blends hands on activities and online tools to supplement school curriculum.

Description

Educational experiences today are leaning more and more towards being purely digital. This constrains learning activities to only screen based interactions and takes children away from real world explorations.

PAO focuses on teaching children about geometric angles by integrating hands on activities and digital tools. It aims at building a stronger bond between digital and physical educational environments. The tools for this experience consist of a custom made hardware angle probe and a robust digital information platform that communicate with each other. The design process was guided by inputs from teachers and students within the New York City education system.
