Peeking Me

Kaini Zhou

Peek Me is a video installation with multiple screens and my personal feminine items, that exposes my vulnerability to the public

Description

This video installation include the screens of my daily devices: ipod, ipad, and Macbook. Each of the devices displays an angle of me naked, saying the things that I am extremely afraid of. It is a public confession.

The device will be placed among my personal feminine items from make-up bags to pads and tampons to trash can. All of them come from my own apartment.

This project is an introduction of my insecure private life to the public, and I am hoping to use the imageries to blur the line of personal and non-personal space and narrative.
