Description

Sensory Imaging was designed to encourage children with Autism and Sensory Processing Disorders, to actively engage in sensory exploration. The interface invites experimentation with touch and movement by translating actions into visual imagery. In this way, the installation helps children negotiate, participate and playfully engage with their environment, while it reinforces proprioceptive perception and strengthens a sense of self.
