A nostalgic device becomes playful and fun in new ways. There will be several records to choose from and when you play a record, an embedded RFID reader and tag will trigger a unique multimedia experience of sound, projected animations, pictures and light on top of the record.
Implementation
The interface is a record player and a record. There is a RFID tag on the record and a RFID reader on the record player. When the person puts the record on the player, the RFID reader will recognize the unique ID tag on each different record and play the story associated with it. <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /> RFID tag is read by the reader. That information is transferred into Processing. The animations are only triggered when the unique tag serial number is read and the needle drops. The record player serves as the line into Processing and when the needle drops it reads going above a specific trigger level.
