4 Seasons Blossom

Pick a city on the map, and a flower will tell you what season it feels like over there.

Introduction to Physical Computing

This installation has 4 flowers that respond to real time weather data programed on a world map in processing. The flowers are controlled by 8 servo motors with the Uno Arduino. Each flower represents a season, and depend of the temperature of the selected city on the map, one flower will bloom and tell you what season it feels like there. The two LED lights in the back represent the local time of the selected city. The blue light means it's night time, whereas the orange light means it's daytime. Therefore, by picking a city on the map, you can simply enjoy the flowers blooming and closing and let them tell you the weather and time over there.
