Dates

ITP Camp 2026 will run Monday, June 1 to Friday, June 27, 2026 featuring a hearty trail mix of Camp-led (organized by the Camp Director and Camp staff) and Camper-led (organized by Camp attendees) workshops, talks, discussions, experiments, hackathons, and more!

Please note that all participants are expected to be present for the first days of camp to complete mandatory orientation and training sessions.

Deadlines

• Applications close on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon) EDT.
• Payment is due by Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 12:00PM (noon) EDT.

Please note setting up ITP Camp participants with NYU access involves timelines beyond our control. As such, we cannot accept late applications or late payments. Also - payment is how you reserve your spot! Capacity may be reached before the payment deadline. We strongly recommend that you apply and pay well before these deadlines!

Format

ITP Camp 2026 will happen in-person at the fantastic ITP/IMA facilities at 370 Jay Street in Brooklyn, New York!

This is designed as an in-person event and we recommend attending in person. The richness of the ITP Camp experience comes from handling materials and bumping elbows. We are so excited to be in the same space with you!

Some session leaders may choose to provide online access options via synchronous (live audio & video) or asynchronous (recordings) means. In these cases, access is set up and managed by the session leader.

Fees & Discounts

Registration Fee

The registration fee for Camp 2026 is $1760 USD.

Discounts

The discounts for ITP Camp 2026 are as follows:

• Early Bird (Apply & pay before Friday, March 13, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST): 25%
• ITP, IMA Low Res, IMA NYC Alumni (including 2026 graduates): 50%
• Current ITP Students & IMA Low-Res incoming students: 50%
• IMA Shanghai Alumni, IM Abu Dhabi Alumni, IDM Alumni: 25%
• ITP Camp Alumni: 25%
• Non-ITP/IMA NYU Faculty & Staff (NYC, Shanghai and Abu Dhabi campuses only): 50%

A maximum of 2 discounts may be used per camper. Combined discounts may not exceed 75%.

Barter Option

ITP Camp also offers a "Barter Option" for ITP/IMA Faculty & Staff. Individuals in these categories are eligible for a 100% discount in exchange for leading a well-developed session at ITP Camp 2026. Here's how:

• Submit your application by the application deadline listed above.
• When you apply, include a title, a short description, and the expected duration of your proposed session.
• Post your session to the ITP Camp calendar before the start of ITP Camp. If accepted, you will receive a follow-up email with instructions on how to do this.

Refunds

• 100% refund: Wednesday, May 20, 2026
• 50% refund: Friday, May 22, 2026

Important Notes

• ITP Camp is a non-degree program. Participating in ITP Camp does not earn academic credit towards a degree.
• Being accepted to ITP Camp does not mean you are officially an NYU matriculated student nor does it give you access to all of NYU's resources.
• As a non-degree program, ITP Camp cannot provide international participants with student visas.

Rules of Play

ITP Camp is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where all participants can learn, explore, and make. When submitting your application, you will be asked to review and agree to the ITP Camp Rules of Play, ITP/IMA Community Guidelines, and NYU's University Student Conduct Policy.

Housing

ITP Camp attendees can access NYU Summer Housing in Manhattan. We have reserved a limited number of apartment style single rooms in shared suites. The apartment-style suites have a shared kitchen and bathroom. (The meal plan is not required or included in the housing reservation). Participants will be allowed to change their dates of stay using the departure/arrival hub or shorten and lengthen their stay using the reservation change form. If participants choose to stay in housing for less than three weeks, they will still be charged for a minimum of three weeks.

The 2026 rates are still to be determined. As a reference, the 2025 rates were $503 per week, or $2,012 for 4 weeks (the entirety of ITP Camp).

Please don't delay and let us know as soon as possible if you would like to book a room. Housing signup deadline is May 1, 2026 or when spaces fill.
