ITP Camp 2022 will run Wednesday, June 1st through Wednesday, June 29th featuring a hearty trail mix of Camp-led (organized by the Camp Director and Camp staff) and Camper-led (organized by Camp attendees) workshops, talks, discussions, experiments, hackathons, and more!

ITP Camp sessions (live events) will happen between 1:00PM and 9:00PM EST, Monday through Saturday. This year we will be having "Session Free Sundays" as a way to encourage people to take a break and get outside. Facilities will be accessible to registered ITP Camp participants outside of session hours.

ITP Camp applications will close on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 5:00PM EDT.

Format

This year ITP Camp will be returning to an in-person format, taking place at the fantastic ITP/IMA facilities at 370 Jay Street in Brooklyn, New York!

UPDATE as of 3/9/22: Due to popular demand, we will be adding online access options for ITP Camp 2022 participants who are not able to attend some events in-person. Online options will include both synchronous (live audio & video) and asynchronous (recordings) access for most sessions. See the FAQ for more details.

COVID-19 Notes

In order to attend ITP Camp events, all ITP Camp participants will be required to comply with the NYU COVID-19 Health and Safety requirements in effect for the duration of the event. This will include: vaccine and vaccine-booster requirements, mask-wearing, and use of a Daily Screener app. Check the NYU Returns webpage for updates leading up to the event.

Fees

Registration Fee

The registration fee for Camp 2022 is $1400 for all participants, regardless of format.

The discounts we are offering this year on the registration fee are as follows:

• ITP, IMA Low Res, IMA NYC, IMA Shanghai Alumni: 50%
• ITP Camp Alumni: 25%
• NYU Faculty & Staff: 25%

A maximum of 2 discounts may be used per camper.

Note: There will be barter option for current ITP & IMA students. Stay tuned to student email lists for details.

Refunds

Fees are 100% refundable until Friday, May 27, 2022 and 50% refundable until Friday, June 3, 2022.

Campers can reserve NYU housing by the week. Please sign up at the NYU Summer Housing website.

Guest Session Leaders

If you can't attend ITP Camp but are still interested in teaching a workshop, giving a lecture, or leading another type of activity, please email kate.hartman@nyu.edu with the subject line "ITP Camp 2022 Session Leader Inquiry".

Please note that Guest Session Leaders are not permitted to attend other ITP Camp sessions or activities. If you want to attend camp (which also enables you to lead sessions), please apply!
