April Harris and Kevin Dyer of  Dyer Harris LLP stop by to provide insight into immigration law. April and Kevin will review some of the visas that may be options for ITP students and graduates, (such as O-1s, H-1Bs, Investor Visas and TNs), ideas for using your OPT Period to enhance your visa options, and the procedures and substance requirements involved in obtaining a visa or green card.

This panel on careers in  UX/UI will feature conversations with ITP alum Su Kim and Rucha Patwardhan. The panel will cover topics including how they got to where they are today, what a UX designer actually does in a professional context and their advice for recent grads looking to launch a career in UX or Product Design.

Jake Barton is Principal and Founder of Local Projects, an experience and exhibit design firm that creates groundbreaking experiences. Credits include landmark projects like the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, the London Mithraeum, the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, and the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Isabel Kantor is the SVP of Technology at Omnicom’s Organic, where she leads the technology strategy, delivery and growth for some of the world’s top brands, such as National Instruments, Edward Jones, Carter’s and Palo Alto Networks.

The Resumes & Interviews for ITP Session, presented by Wasserman, will take a tailored, in-depth approach to preparing your application materials and interviewing skills for your job search.

Artist Alumni Panel

Interactive Art Panel Talk with Chika, Molmol, and Jason Krugman.

CHIKA is a Japanese-born New York-based artist who works in light sculptures, audiovisual performances, and technology.

Molmol is an art worker who works with technology. She is interested in visualizing human experiences that would otherwise remain invisible to others.

Blending craft with technology, Krugman works to discover new ways of arranging electricity in three dimensions.
