Description

The draftmaster targets the millions of new yorkers that get up night after night to crack open and close their windows to somehow regulate the sweltering heat streaming from central heating systems. The ventilation unit automatically regulates the temperature by controlling the airflow based on temperature preferences set by the user.

Description

With the mass adoption of smartphones, wearables, and apps that collect personal data, so much is being tracked. Glance builds on the quantified self market to enhance the way collected data influences its users. It makes information more available, more relevant, and more beautiful by placing simple, iconic displays in meaningful places. Glance is a kinetic wall piece designed as home decor and includes a configuration app for multiple data sources. Using basic geometric shapes, the display is read quickly at a glance. As personal data becomes more mainstream, look to Glance for a relevant display of knowledge, understanding and inspiration.

A connected motivation box that can be unlocked when a user achieves a given fitness goal

Description

GGIT is a safety box for motivation. A user can access to the box with bluetooth 4.0 networked mobile app, put a treat in the box, set a fitness goal and lock it. Only when given goal is fulfilled, the box is unlocked and the treat can be rewarded. Fitness activity is measured by phone device accelerometer. This project is specifically using M7 processor data from iphone 5S, which is a promising technology to make a iphone a quantified self device.
