Swift in the Post Objective C Era

Time/Date: Wednesday Jan 21, 4pm – 5pm

Instructor: Jason Dunne

Description:

For this Unconference Swift session, I’ll do the quickest of recaps of everything the Swift/Objective-C club covered for the semester, from Diego’s Split The Bill app and Happy Fun Corp’s Swift Intro apps on Github to resources like Apple’s Swift Programming Language Book and Lynda’s tutorial videos. I’ll try to stick to 5-10 minute recaps of each resource, which will give you good vectors to work off of until the semester starts back up.

All in all, I’ll condense and crystalize some of what we presented over the span of the club’s ten sessions. For example, there is a more advanced, more visual approach within the Swift Playground which can be really powerful for quick prototypes.
