Description

A two-way reflective acrylic sheet acts as a mirror, hiding a large monitor behind it with a Kinect-Processing sketch streaming and intaking real-time data. As the user moves closer towards to the mirror, their reflection is obstructed by an unusual object forming. They move closer and find that this is their own body, which is being tracked by the Kinect and manipulated through Processing. This new visual takes the place of their former reflection. They move further away, and they are once again able to see their reflection. What appears to be an ordinary mirror from afar, quickly turns into a unique personal experience.
