Getting There augments bicycles to algorithmically generate music, transforming consumptive passivity into mindful production. Sensors incorporate the rider, bicycle and environment to create sounds reflective of the fusion of all three. The ubiquitous bicycle was chosen for it\’s range of utility, speed, and distance covered by human locomotion.
