New Allocations

Adding New Courses to the Interchange

  1. To request new allocations for Liberal Arts and Sciences (Core & Electives), complete the Tisch Course Allocation Request Form for NYU courses only. Check the Interchange and the Tisch Course Allocation Spreadsheet before you send in the form. Review the form. In the “Your advisor’s name” field, type ima-advise@itp.nyu.edu so that we’re notified once there’s an update about your request.
  2. To request new allocations for IMA Elective or transfer credit courses, complete the IMA Elective Allocation Request Form. Check the Interchange before you send in the form. Review the form and if you have questions, please email ima-advise@itp.nyu.edu.

We will email all students when new courses are added. You can check the current courses here:

Tisch Allocation Spreadsheet

In addition, Tisch Academic Services has shared the Tisch Course Allocation Spreadsheet! You can check allocations for the following categories before completing the Tisch Course Allocation Form above:

  • LIBERAL ARTS & SCIENCES – CORE
  • LIBERAL ARTS & SCIENCES – ELECTIVES

NOTE

IMA courses and Liberal Arts & Sciences allocations will still be searchable on our Interchange website.

For most students joining IMA in Fall 2022 and beyond, our new program structure affects the categorization of courses on this site.

Classes listed in the "IMA Major Electives" categories refer to the old IMA program structure. If you're under the new IMA program structure, these courses count as general IMA Electives.
