Fall ’26 Class Dates & Deadlines

09/02/26Fa26 Classes Begin
09/07/26Labor Day (University Holiday – no classes scheduled / University offices are closed)
TBA7W1 Add/Drop Deadline:
– Last day to add/drop/swap 7W1 session classes in Albert
– Last day to drop a 7W1 session class and not receive a grade of ‘W’
– Last day to drop a 7W1 session class and receive a 100% refund of tuition and fees (for late-starting courses – see below) (for complete withdrawals – see the Refund Schedule below)
TBA14W Add/Drop Deadline:
– Last day to add/drop/swap 14W session classes in Albert
– Last day to drop a 14W session class and not receive a grade of ‘W’

Refund Schedule for Complete Withdrawals:

For a complete withdrawal [withdrawing from all NYU classes for the term — meaning a leave of absence (can only be requested in weeks 1-2 of the semester in question), or a total withdrawal from the ITP / IMA programs] please see the Refund Schedule, which is published here.
