EOS Operational Deadlines

End of Semester Deadlines

Please pay attention to the following important end of semester deadlines marking the close of operations for the Spring 2025 Semester, including mandatory cleanup details leading up to the Show

STAGING

Thursday, May 2 – Staging North Side Ends

  • Staging on the North (Left of Red Square) Ends
  • If you need additional time email rob.ryan@nyu.edu for a temporary relocation

Thursday, May 8 – ALL Staging Ends

  • Staging Ends on Wednesday, May 7
  • Staging CLEANUP is Thursday, May 8
  • IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE SHOW:
    • Spaces MUST be cleared and emptied by 8pm
  • IF YOU ARE IN THE SHOW:
    • Your Staging Space must be cleaned up, contained and should be labeled with:
      • Your project name, email address and “Spring Show 2025”
    • We will designate a storage area for all Show projects while the Floor is broken down for the Show

Show Production Dates

  • ALL Equipment (except embedded electronics checked out from the Shop) due back by 10pm, Thursday, May 8
    • On Floor Only on Thursday, May 8
    • No Checkouts on Friday, May 9
  • Shop and ER close for normal use on Friday, May 9
    • The Shop will still have limited services on Friday May 9 and Saturday May 10 for the Show only
  • Floor Breakdown for the Show: Friday, May 9 at 4:30pm – all Show participants should be here
  • Spring Show Mandatory Checkin for Equipment and Space: Saturday, May 10 at 10am
  • Spring Show Day 1: Sunday, May 11 2pm-6pm
  • Spring Show Mandatory Walkthrough: Sunday, May 11 10am-12pm
  • Spring Show Day 2: Monday, May 12 3pm (special visitors), 4pm-8pm
  • Floor Restoration from Show: Monday, May 12 8pm

TAKE IT HOME – PART I

Anything Not in the Spring Show

Begin taking home non-Show projects and materials as soon as possible

Anything NOT in the Show should be taken home by the end of the day on Thursday, May 8

Red Bins and Lockers

ALL Red Bins MUST be emptied by Thursday, May 8

  • All Red Bins will be collected and stored away for the Show during the Breakdown on Friday May 9 at 12pm
  • Take home all of your Red Bin contents
  • Red Bins MUST emptied so they can be stacked and put into storage before the show

ALL lockers MUST be emptied by Wednesday, May 14

TAKE IT HOME – PART II

Spring Show Projects

All Show Projects MUST be taken home by 5pm Wednesday, May 14

Kitchen Clean out

There will be a full Kitchen clean out at 8:30am on Thursday, May 15 – refrigerators, freezers and shelves – everything must go!
