We are looking for 1-2 Flex developers (preferably 1 senior and 1 mid)
with the following pre-requisites:
We are looking for strong Flex developers to build out our
multimedia/video platform to help transform how we deliver information
over a new medium. The Flex application will need to adhere to the
detailed specifications outlined by our creative agency including data
representation, effects, user experience, Flash Player integration and
all additional technical specifications of the application.
Experience in understanding how a service driven Flex application
integrated with Flash video components for both an On-demand and Live
streaming user experience needs to be built.
Required skills:
– Strong background in building data driven, rich internet
applications using Flex 3.0, Actionscript 3.0 and Flash 8 through
webservices
– Experience building flash video players with Flash Media Servers
(live and on-demand) through a CDN using RTMP and HTTP progressive (H.
264 with Flash 9 a plus)
– Interfacing Flex and Flash applications with Flash Remoting (AMF
gateways)
– Experience with REST and SOAP webservices
– Core competency in XML, JSON, AJAX, Javascript
– Ability to build applications according to detailed specification
and design documents
– Building, documenting and supporting unit testing and test cases
for moving applications from development to QA
– Competency in Apache, Tomcat, Java/J2EE and JSP technologies
