User Experien=
ce Architect


individual will work closely with the web applications development team in =
envisioning and executing the user experience architecture for our online en=
gagements. The ideal candidate is a creative as well as analytical thinker.=
=A0 This person should be able to contribute to the creation of imaginative =
interface designs that are intuitive, aesthetically pleasing and technically=
feasible. Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills a=
re a must. Ideal candidates will have experience in conducting user research=
, designing taxonomies, creating site maps, wireframes and prototypes and as=
sisting in usability testing. It is also very important that this individual=
has experience presenting their work and facilitating meetings where they c=
learly articulate the rationale and strategy underlying their work.


Primary responsibiliti=
es include:

ng in and leading client meetings where the User Experience Architecture is =
being presented, not only in working session settings, but also, as necessar=
y, in business development sessions
Designing the User Experience for a wild=A0variety of client types.=A0Thi=
s includes site taxonomy, user=A0scenarios/personas, process flows, wirefram=
es, site maps and=A0low and high fidelity prototypes.
Collaborating with software developers, analysts, br=
and strategists, graphic designers and content editors to ensure the success=
ful creation of back-end data management systems, presentation layer shells=
=A0and their accompanying editorial and graphic content.
Collaborating with analysts in the creation of Proje=
ct Requirements and Functional Specifications documents.
Planning and conducting usability evaluations and as=
sisting=A0analysts in developing and documenting usability requirement.=A0 Conducting efficient research of r=
elated web properties to determine best practices.

Requires a college or university degree in Human-Com=
puter Interaction, information design, industrial design, or related area.


3-5 years of experience in user experience ar=
chitecture and related disciplines for interactive products. Requires demons=
trated experience with a number of commonly used techniques such as conducti=
on task analysis, interviews, observation, questionnaires, concurrent and re=
trospective protocols, prototyping (hi or lo-fi), participatory design, flow=
charting, site mapping, analytical and empirical usability evaluations. An u=
nderstanding of how marketing and branding issues impact interface design is=
also desirable. Sample deliverables and presentation is required.



Recommended skills:

Direct work experience as a User Experience Architect, Human In=
terface Designer and/or Interaction Design =A0is required.
Productive skills with Visio, Photoshop, Illustrat=
or, PowerPoint and Axure=A0
standing of HTML, CSS and general web template techniques and content manage=
ment systems.
Comfortable with re=
ading and developing UML use cases
Strong client interfacing skills
