Job Description:

Interactive Producer and Manager, New Media – BRAVO

Essential Functions:
Working in Bravo’s New Media department, the Interactive Producer and
Manager is responsible for planning and executing live interactive TV
events to support Bravo programming, as well as spearheading gaming
development and new wireless initiatives. Great opportunity for
motivated, passionate superstar. Creative thinker should be ready to
be part of the creative process, writing and developing content ideas
as well as concepting creative applications for existing and emerging
technology. Collaborate with team on brainstorming and content
creation for digital extensions of all shows.

Responsibilites to include but not limited to:

– Act as Producer of Bravo New Media Interactive TV initiatives,
leading project from start to completion, including operational,
editorial and cross-departmental oversight. Create and edit
interactive content, develop detailed project schedule, manage
project scope, document feedback, facilitate project meetings, review
all project deliverables for quality and accuracy, maintain project
documentation, communicate project status and identify project risk
areas. Track and report metrics with strategic analysis.

– Act as liaison with NBCU internal departments and external vendors,
including production, programming, ad sales, creative services, legal
and on-air groups as well as software developers, engineers, control
rooms and graphics operators.

– Brainstorm, initiate, lead and create content for new concepts in
the iTV, mobile and digital space that would be applicable for Bravo.

Basic Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3-6 years experience in television
production, interactive media, digital, mobile, advertising or
related media field
– Excellent project management skills with high initiative and
precise attention to detail.
– Ability to work in fast-paced, innovative and high-energy
environment with sense of urgency is essential
– Track record of project ownership from start to completion and
proven ability to work in team with diverse personalities
– Ability to oversee cross-departmental team and communicate clearly
with outside vendors
– Strong organizational and operational skills, with ability to
handle multiple projects simultaneously
– Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills,
including background in creative writing to capture brand voice
– Fast learner of new technology with ability to teach skills
– Must be a self-starter who can navigate through uncharted territory
and trailblaze in an ever-changing industry. Requires passion for
pioneering, careful planning and creative problem-solving
– A passion for Bravo programming and new media landscape

– Familiarity with digital advertising sponsorship models a plus
– TV broadcast and creative design vocabulary preferred
– Familiarity with basic HTML and video editing a plus
