> You can become a part of this exciting endeavor. The Web & Technology
> Manager will be responsible for expanding and maintaining a state-
> of-the art
> online resource site for schools and maintaining a distance
> learning system
> for use by educators throughout the country. This person must have
> excellent
> web analytic skills and experience with user testing, web analytics
> and user
> interface. The position reports to the Healthy Schools Program’s
> Associate
> Director for Strategic Initiatives and is charged with overseeing the
> general design, maintenance, and promotion of
> www.healthiergeneration.org/schools in coordination with the
> Alliance Lead
> Web and Technology Manager.

> Major Responsibilities:
>
> -Create web traffic metrics by working with the schools team to
> determine
> priorities
> -Use Google analytics to create and evaluate tracking goals
> -Work with the school’s field team to get direct feedback on the
> user’s
> experience with the healthiergeneration.org/schools site via
> surveys, user
> testing and ongoing dialogue with relationship managers
> -Create detailed monthly reports identifying where we are
> successful and
> where we need to improve based on Google analytics as well as
> details from
> user feedback and testing
> -Work with the School’s communication and marketing manager to
> constantly
> refine the school’s section of the website to meet the long term
> goals based
> on monthly reports
> -Execute periodic regular site redesigns updates and enhancements
> -Update and maintain site content and functionality
> -Develop and implement policies and procedures for content review and
> updates within the schools program
> -Oversee the online growth of the Healthy Schools Program (HSP)
> section of
> the Alliance website, including developing SEO, cross-promotion and
> external
> linkage strategies
> -Work with in-house graphic designer to create interactive online
> resources
> using a variety of technologies
> -Maintain all email marketing, including a monthly eBlast
> -Organize content between the American Heart Association and the
> Clinton
> Foundation websites to ensure the Healthy Schools Program is
> consistently
> represented
> -Act as Project Manager for outsourced web-related projects
> -Develop workflow for website updates and manage flow of web
> content within
> HSP
> -Maintain the current Learning Management System and revise user
> interface
> as needed
> -Maintain aesthetic integrity when converting print materials to
> the web

> Experience:
>
> Minimum Qualifications:
>
> -Bachelors’ degree from an accredited institution preferably in a
> web design
> related field
> -At least 5 years of professional web usability/analytics
> experience and
> internet marketing
> -Strong understanding of cross-browser issues and solutions
> -Experience with user-interface design
> -Experience working with template-based content management systems
> -General web development understanding, such as validation,
> accessibility
> and web standards
> -Keen attention to detail
> -Knowledge of web-editing software, including Dreamweaver,
> Microsoft Visual
> Studio and/or Web Developer
> -Strong communication and design skills.
> -Experience with Macromedia Flash, online multimedia content, and
> online
> communities a plus
> -Demonstrated experience in classic ASP, ASP.Net (C# or VB.Net), HTML,
> DHTML, and CSS
> -A portfolio with web samples is required
>
> Additional Competencies:

> -Strong familiarity with and passion for emerging digital technologies
> -Detail-orientated, creative, and forward-thinking
> -Proficiency in standard office software applications
