echbridge is an innovative program of Chabot Space & Science Center that=
inspires girls in technology, science and engineering. The program is held =
afterschool for students in grades 5-12 in Oakland, San Lorenzo, and Mount D=
iablo School Districts. In these afterschool programs, girls work on a varie=
ty of projects such as making claymation videos, soldering circuits, and bui=
lding green dollhouses to learn about engineering design. The girls also par=
ticipate in field trips to company worksites and meet inspiring role models =
