Diana Eng is looking for a video int=
ern to create weekly web videos
for Fairytale Fashion, a program created=
with the support of Eyebeam
that educates girls about technology. Fairy=
tale Fashion creates magic
clothing with blooming flowers, changing colo=
rs, and transforming
shapes using muscle wire, deployable structures, mi=
crocontrollers, and
other electronics.
Responsibilities:
Sh=
ooting and editing a weekly short web episode/video podcasts. Videos
are=
informal with a medium production quality. Videos will be posted
weekly=
on the Fairytale Fashion website and redistributed to blogs
such as Giz=
modo, Make, etc.
Experience:
-be familiar with operating a pros=
umer camera such as the Sony HDV
-proficiency with Final Cut Pro
-be=
familiar with preparing video files for internet streaming

microcontrollers, and other electronics.
Responsibilities:
=
Design intern will help to create and fabricate garments. Most
garments=
will contain electronics or new materials. He/she will help
to op=
erate laser cutter, knitting machine, sew garments, 3-D printer.
Prior e=
xperience using these tools and electronics is not required.
Intern shou=
ld have experience creating prototypes/samples/models for
industrial des=
ign, fashion design, or architecture.
