Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
=B7 At minimum of three years experience within media technology
=B7 At minimum of two years experience with mobile technology and infrastructure
=B7 Strong background in managing/developing publishing systems in drupal and/or moveable type
=B7 A minimum of two years of experience with a proven track record in architecting, managing, and maintaining mobile systems.
=B7 A minimum of two years of project management experience. Must have proven track record of
managing a project within time and budget constraints, working directly with customers to capture requirements, and building project plans.
=B7 A minimum of two years of experience building and managing project plans and architecture diagrams
=B7 Must have a strong aptitude for reading technical documentation and be able to formulate integration plans based on that documentation.
=B7 Must have a strong aptitude and desire to be current in the ever-changing world of mobile technologies
=B7 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

The Mobile Product Manager is a key member of NBC Universal’s Interactive Media Product Development Team and will be the driving force behind developing and launching SMS, WAP, MMS, and mobile video systems. This person will also design and oversee the development of technologies used internally, and externally with vendors, that will enable NBCU to launch new mobile services more rapidly and with greater automation and lower cost. This person will interface with NBCU Media Works
technologists, technology partners, and key contacts at each business unit, to deliver mobile solutions for all NBCU brands including NBC, NBCU Cable Networks, Universal Studios, NBC Owned & Operated Stations and NBCU Television Distribution.
NBC Universal is looking for a talented, motivated and detail-oriented individual who can take responsibility for large projects and lead them from infancy to launch.

=B7 Experience with broadcast television technology (character generators, scheduling systems,
encoders, etc,)
=B7 Experience with the Rational Software development methodology
