creative possibilities for interactive design and artmaking. In this course=
, you will earn the fundamental skills necessary to design and develop Web s=
ites, including HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), XHTML (Extended HTML), CS=
S (Cascading Style Sheets) and the incorporation of images, sound and video.=
Using Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 (Creative Suite 3), you will acquire expe=
rtise in hand coding and the use of a sophisticated layout program for creat=
ing Web pages. We will also explore Dreamweaver=92s integration with other A=
dobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Firework=
s, and examine theoretical and practical approaches to interface design that=
support the development of your individual vision. Prerequisite: Experience with ele=
ctronic imaging and software such as Adobe Photoshop.

explore the power of combining Flash with JavaScript, XML (Extensible Markup=
Language) and PHP scripting language to create advanced Web applications th=

Flash or Dreamweaver. You will be introduced to new ways of thinking about h=
ow people use the Internet, both for business and creative expression, while=
learning the basics of scripting and programming. We will examine the funda=
mentals of interactive multimedia design and development by working in Flash=
and creating interactivity and data integration with JavaScript and XML. Ad=
ditionally, we will download components such as Papervision3D, Away3D, Jigli=
b, Jquery, WordPress, Pixastic, TweenMax, Bulk-Loader and Blender. All of th=
ese elements will work together to help you produce sophisticated Web design=
s featuring graphics, animation, sound and video. By the end of the course, =
