YOXI is a new website and digital platform with an ambitious mission to mainstream social innovation through creative competitions and a social game. We have just wrapped up a barebones trial run and are getting ready to launch both our first official competition and the social game in November.
We are looking for a seasoned web producer who enjoys working in a creative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment. We would absolutely love it if you were a creative thinker with initiative and passion to change the world. You would join a team that includes a strategist, designer, writer, storyteller, and creative technologist – all of whom are working to shape a meaningful initiative with real world impact.
Your primary responsibility involves working closely with our Video, Editorial and Design teams to ensure Yoxi.tv runs smoothly with fresh content every day. You will also play a role in building our online audience through a range of direct marketing and social media outreach initiatives.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-‐ Daily content upload and QA
-‐ Monitor online user activity, remove inappropriate UGC, and flag issues that require the attention of our Editorial team
-‐ Manage the entire competition workflow: team registration, team selection and notification, team video submission approvals, user task reminders, team elimination, winner management, post-competition archive
-‐ Assume the web admin role, manage content database and user account permissions
-‐ Communicate directly with Competition Teams when necessary
-‐ Create and distribute site traffic (and campaign) analytics to internal team
-‐ Create and distribute email newsletters and special announcements to subscribed users
-‐ Collaborate with UX/Design lead to scope new features and schedule incremental site releases
-‐ Manage technology vendors/partners
-‐ Respond to incoming queries
-‐ Keep abreast of latest web technologies and web and email marketing best practices
Required experience and skills:
-‐ BA/BS or equivalent related experience
-‐ Preferably 2+ years experience designing, implementing, testing, and launching websites and custom web applications
-‐ Preferably 2+ years extensive experience using the following tools: HTML 4.0/5.0, CSS,
Javascript, Photoshop
-‐ Knowledge of out-of-the-box as well as custom CMS solutions
-‐ Ability to understand and edit UX documents (sitemap, wireframes, userflow)
-‐ Ability to understand, edit, and develop user scenarios or use cases
-‐ Ability to effectively communicate with Tech and Design Lead
-‐ Ability to create and manage HTML emails
-‐ Able to meet deadlines on a consistent basis
-‐ Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and presentation of information
-‐ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and project management skills
