Interface Developer Consultant for E4C Project

As an interface developer you will apply a combination of design and technology skills to create compelling and interactive web interfaces that fulfill the user experience.

Responsibilities:

– Write semantic, standards-compliant, and cross-browser compatible XHTML and CSS without use of a WYSIWYG editor.

– Write JavaScript from scratch and be able to repurpose advanced JavaScript functionality.

– To possess at least a conceptual knowledge of Flash and ActionScript.

– To work collaboratively with other project team members, including those from Creative, Technology, and Quality Assurance.

– To provide clear and timely communication to the ID lead, the project manager, and the rest of the project team.

– Working collaboratively with other project team members, in particular those from the Creative team, Application Development, and Quality Assurance.

– Cropping and optimizing graphics for the web using PhotoShop.

– Estimating interface development work effort.

– Learn new technologies in order to keep up with current trends or as required by new projects.

– You will be relied upon to see projects through to completion with high accuracy

– Perform special projects/duties as needed

Skills/Experience:

– A mind blowing personal website that demonstrates technical and creative flair

– A related Diploma from an established school

– A minimum of two year experience producing commercial websites, preferably more

– Hands on programming experience with HTML, CSS, Java Script or Action Script

– Experience working with one of the following libraries: Mootools, jQuery, Prototype, Dojo

– Full experience dealing with browser idiosyncrasies and compatibility issues

– Working experience with multiple graphic file formats, such as .png .eps, .psd, .jpg
