JOB: Website Administrator Consultant

I’m working on rolling out a niche group-buying site (www.DrinkTheDeal.com) with two of my friends and all three of us have business backgrounds and went into this endeavor knowing that we were not tech savvy enough to develop and maintain a site on our own.  So we did what we thought would be best for a bootstrapped start-up and outsourced to India for our website design and development.  We currently only have a landing page up on our server where users can sign-up ahead of our launch, but we’re close to the completion of phase 1 of our full-site.

As this completion date is rapidly approaching, we find ourselves clueless as to what type of tech resources we definitely need to help maintain our site once it’s on our server as well as what the industry standard working arrangement is for such resources at a start-up (i.e. on-call, consult, part-time hire, etc).  This role could potentially evolve into a position where someone could become the expert / adviser for our company in all tech-related areas and could possibly work on future phases of the site, but at the moment we’re most concerned about maintaining our site once it goes live.  Would you be willing to provide me with your professional advice regarding this situation and / or recommend some experienced and quality resources?  I’d greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Kevin
