Pronto.com and its family of microsites provide one of the industry’s most comprehensive and targeted online shopping experience.
We are looking for a creative web developer to join our front end development team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling aggressive deadlines and multi tasking.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain the existing Pronto family of websites.
· Implement new features and microsites based on the requirements and designs specified by the product team.
· Communicate with the product, design and engineering teams to coordinate all the necessary components for each project.
· Work with the QA team to fix identified issues.
· Verify code across multiple browsers and operating systems.
· Use best practices to build an optimal user experience.
Required Experience/Skills
· Minimum 2 years web development using CSS, HTML, JavaScript and Ajax.
· Knowledge of web standards and familiarity with cross browser compatibility issues.
· Experience with JSP or similar technologies (experience with JSTL and Tiles is a plus).
· Some experience with Photoshop.
· Experience with JQuery is a plus.
· Knowledge of WordPress templates is a plus.
