Position Summary:
The Senior Interactive Designer is responsible for guiding and creating the visual design of the new FA Desktop, also called 3D. The FA Desktop is the primary application that financial advisors use to manage their business and includes a CRM, data visualization of an FA’s practice/portfolio, and tools to help service their clients. 3D is a web based application.
Experience:
5-8 years of industry experience in a well established web design and/or interactive design role with emphasis on user interface design for complex, data-driven websites and/or applications. Financial services experience a plus.
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to develop visual design of a new application system for financial advisors:
– Create designs, redlines and visual treatments
– Conduct visual design quality assurance and user acceptance testing
– Collaborate closely with consultants, the FA Desktop team and business partners throughout the organization (e.g., Marketing, focus groups of Financial Advisors)
– Be the 3D style subject matter expert – create style guides/documentation and guide consultants and knowledge transfer as consultants come and go
– Impeccable standards of delivery for him/herself
– Experience in: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office
– Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to oversee multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met
