This position is all about branding/marketing/strategy/merchandising – not programming. Only local/tri-state area people.  (Basically means we’re not going to negotiate a relocation fee.)

This position is responsible for managing the profit and loss of, the eCommerce site for Dylan’s Candy Bar. The individual will lead a consistent and engaging creative strategy from marketing to merchandising to operations with the objective of increasing website traffic, growing the consumer database, and driving sales and profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

Envision, define and oversee the growth strategy of our internet retail site, including feature-functionality, user interface, SEO, landing page optimization, effective online merchandising of products and promotions, and overall user experience.

-Manage content strategy and promotional calendar.

-Directly lead a small team on a fast paced, fast growing channel of distribution.

-Provide the strategic leadership and execution necessary to deliver high end marketing performance, including SEO, PPC, affiliate and email marketing, providing a critical contribution to growth and profitability goals over the near and long-term.

-Develop and manage community content on the site and within social media environments.

-Develop and track key online metrics to ensure cost-effective gross profit enhancement to traffic acquisition and conversion cost ratio.

-Communicate plans, programs, and results to the senior management team.

-Work closely with the buying and marketing teams to ensure alignment of products and promotions across the business.

-Work closely with Customer Service and Distribution teams to ensure timely and complete order fulfillment for all orders.

-Demonstrate the ability to manage and maximize third party agencies to achieve profitable and cost effective outcomes.

-Member of the senior management team of the company.

Job Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree or higher

-Minimum 4 years experience in retail ecommerce.

-Familiarity with managing a p and l and budgeting.

-Superb analytical skills and a pattern of fact-based decision-making.

-Innovative, proactive, strong team player.

-Solid knowledge of e-commerce marketing, online merchandising and business principles with proven success in the development and implementation of online marketing strategies.

-Experience in consumer products or retail, food industry a plus.

-Proven ability to lead and influence both projects and teams.

-Exceptional communication skills; able to effectively communicate results, successes and improvement strategies to senior management.
