The company I work for, Scholastic, is looking for junior to mid-level IA/UX/Interaction Designers to fill full-time and long-term freelance positions. This is a great opportunity to work on some major projects (with some really smart and great people) for the eScholastic division of the company.
ROLE:
– Creation of IA deliverables (wireframes, sitemaps, flows, research, etc).
– Defining the content, architecture and functionality of websites and interactive products.
– Collaboration and concepting/ideation with Creative Team
– Providing insight into best practices, tactics and technologies
– Other tasks as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
– 1-3 years experience creating traditional Information Architecture artifacts such as wireframes, sitemaps, flows, conceptual models, as well as proficiency in the tools used to create them (Our standard is OmniGraffle but Visio experience is also fine).
– Professional experience in digital strategy, design or technology are a plus.
