THE POSITION:
A fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled Front End Engineer. Medialets is searching for an engineer to develop mobile app-based applications. He/She will be responsible for pushing the envelope of technical innovation of our mobile products/offerings and will own feature areas end-to-end from requirements gathering to design to implementation and unit testing.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded and self-motivated developer who has a proven history of developing robust and highly-stable java applications. We’re looking for someone with experience in developing scalable consumer facing mobile applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is responsible for going from high-level concepts and requirements to designing, developing and implementing creative functionality. He/She is open minded, able to embrace and drive their ideas and is able to work both independently and as a part of a team.
ABOUT YOU:
You’ve managed, implemented, documented, and maintained various front-end web applications as part of a suite of industry leading mobile advertising and rich media tools.
You want to assist in bridging the gap between technology and design.
Desire to work with all leading smartphone webkit and browser implementations to develop and maintain libraries of components that enable creativity and cross-device compatibility.
You can maintain a healthy respect for the user experience, browser compatibility and page performance
MORE ABOUT YOU:
- Expert-level experience in Javascript, HTML(5), CSS and CSS3
- Experience working on and contributing to the the development of JavaScript Frameworks such as jQuery, Prototype, Scriptaculous, MooTools, etc.
- Lead in building web User Interface and also for helping develop JavaScript libraries used by mobile web content
- Experience in developing JavaScript APIs
- Experience optimizing graphics for use on the internet
- Knowledge of web standards and browser compatibility
- Knowledge of PHP and Ruby
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent
