POST TITLE: Production Company Internship
Meerkat Media is seeking an intern.
We are a media production company and arts collective, pioneering sustainable filmmaking models, specializing in creating emotionally compelling, narrative-driven media content with an emphasis on visual craft and a dedication to the highest production value. We bring a powerful documentary storyteller’s aesthetic to our client work with publishers, universities, news magazines, and non-profits.
We are not looking for someone with a specific level of experience or expertise – rather, we’d like to find the person who best matches our ideals, wants to learn, and has a unique enthusiastic sparkle.
Internship responsibilities will include: training (if nec) and management of media archive; encoding & online distribution; social network identity; production equipment; as well as organization / outreach for pre-production, production, and post.

Terms:
– Time commitment: 1 day / week
– Location: Park Slope, Brooklyn
– Daily lunch stipend: $10
