In a true example of “the power of maintaining an internet presence,” I was contacted out of the blue by a company that needs some After Effects work ASAP, basically starting tomorrow and lasting one week. I have never talked to/heard of this company, but as far as I can tell, they found me through my Vimeo presence and my After Effects tags on my Vimeo clips. They need someone to work on animating some video for high-end watches. I can’t do it, but I promised them I’d pass it along.
I do not have the slightest idea how much this pays, or what the terms are, or anything else. Like I said, I just got this email out of nowhere, apparently from my Vimeo presence. So if you talk to them, please report back to me off-list, because I’m really curious myself. The company site is:
