Market Opportunity

DoubleVerify currently verifies 35 billion impressions per month and its client list includes over 150 Fortune 500 marketers and ad networks. DoubleVerify has been chosen as a preferred verification provider for major holding companies including Publicis, GroupM, InterPublic Group and Havas and has partnered with ten of the top 15 ad networks. DoubleVerify has closed two rounds of financing to date with a total funding of approximately $14 million.

Position Overview

DoubleVerify is in search of an extraordinary User Experience Professional who will spruce up our User Interface.  The UX Specialist is a business critical team member who will interface with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Implementation and Engineering to arrive at the best solution designs of our Product Suite.  This role will be creative, collaborative, drive greater business visibility that will be demonstrated by increased utilization and ease-of-use of our products and services.   The UX Specialist will leverage existing designs, client relationships, feedback from the various process groups and their own expertise in web-based product development to drive our product designs to greatness – greatness that will be aligned with DoubleVerify’s strategic goals

Job Responsibilities:

§  Own the design of the most impactful user interface and related features, and participate in the product definition process with the Product Manager, Engineering Manager and Product Owner

§  Develop expert-level knowledge of competitive and complimentary products and bring new ideas to the team
§  Help translate requirements into specs
§  Design wireframes, prototypes, mockups
§  Create corporate visual design guidelines and standards
§  Travel to client sites to interview users and create focus groups to arrive at most optimal design

§  Significantly influence product strategy and direction

Minimum Qualifications

§  4-6+ years in User Experience modeling
§  Detailed interviewing, requirements gathering, specs, mockups, and wireframe development skills

§  High degree of creativity, interaction design and problem solving ability

§  Uncanny drive to design the best user experience in the world

§  Strong software design and communication skills. (Ability to communicate ideas through design)

§  Proven track record and a passion for designing compelling, award-winning user interfaces

§  Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation skills & and attention to detail.  Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to wide audience and be able to translate business objectives into visual designs

§  Experience working with various cross-functional teams – a team player!

§  Advanced mastery of office tools such as, Visio, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
§  Experience with the software development lifecycle
§  Ability to travel to user sites and create focus groups
§  Demonstrated ability to see the user’s pain and translate it into an easy workflow that the user will love.
§  Track record of working under pressure and tight deadlines in a very fast passed environment and vertical
§  A great portfolio of samples of interaction design work is a must
§  Strong business orientation and acumen; being accountable for results

 

Preferred Job Qualifications:

§  Relevant analysis experience in consultative role.
§  MBA or other Advanced Degree desired (a formal education in Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, HCI, Architecture, or related field from NID / IDC or equivalent)
§  Demonstrated knowledge of Interactive Advertising is a huge plus
§  Prototyping skills using tools such as Flash, Flex, Dreamweaver and OR the knowledge of imaging/video domain applications would be a plus
§  Utilize state of the art graphic design tools which he/she will select to best meet the job’s requirements, such as Photoshop or Illustrator
§  Knowledge of rich applications such as Silverlight
§  Background in Online Advertising is preferred.
