Product Manager – Intern at Foursquare in New York, NY
The Product Management team at foursquare focuses on the strategic vision of the product, guiding features through the entire product life-cycle – from idea to launch. As a Product Manager Intern your responsibilities will include gathering requirements, guiding feature vision, and working closely with world-class engineers to execute that vision.
We are looking for an intern that is excited about location-based technology has a passion for features that engage and delight the end user. You should be excited to think about how we can make foursquare more engaging, fun, and critical to the users’ experience on-the-ground.
An internship at foursquare requires at least 12 consecutive weeks of full-time work at our headquarters in the East Village of New York City.

Key responsibilities
•Understand and analyze user needs through market research and analysis
•Help define product vision and strategy, and build consensus among multiple stakeholders
•Write specifications and drive product schedules with engineers and designers

Requirements
•At least 3+ years academic of Computer Science, Interaction Design, or a related field (technical experience is required; while you won’t be writing code you should understand the technical implications of the product decisions you make)
•Deep interest in creating and analyzing products.
•Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
•Strong grasp of user-experience design
•Strong organizational and analytical skills
•Avid user of social, location-based, mobile applications
