This is from some friends who are putting together a concept for a children’s TV series. They’re looking for an illustrator to collaborate with on initial character illustrations for their pitch. Please forward to anyone you know who might be interested.
About the project:
Animated television series aimed at preschool-age kids emphasizing creativity and the power of imagination.
Role / responsibilities:
Collaborate with us to visualize the main characters, and overall look-and-feel of the show’s world through sketches and storyboards.
Required skills / experience:
Our ideal collaborator has some professional character illustration or animation experience, but we will also consider less experienced applicants with exceptional portfolios. Imperative: a belief in magic, a childlike heart and love of the absurd. Unfortunately, at the moment, we can only consider candidates in the New York City area.
We, the show’s creators, are writers, educators, parents, and aspiring alchemists.
