the intersection of communication, culture and technology. Published electronically three times
per year, gnovis’ mission is to offer a platform for graduate students from around the globe to
share their cutting edge research on the roles of new technologies in politics, art, science, culture,
and education. For further information, please visit our website at gnovisjournal.org.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently welcoming submissions for our Special
Summer 2012 issue titled ‘International & Intercultural.’ As we become ever more deeply
immersed in an international and intercultural world, our ideas, problems and solutions take on
increasingly global dimensions. As such, gnovis encourages – though does not oblige – authors
to consider addressing some facet of international or intercultural communication in their works.
Submissions may be presented in the form of research papers or multimedia projects and
potential topics may include but are not limited to politics, art, gender, race, ethnicity and identity,
nationalism, Web 2.0 and social media, digital representation, and technology.

gnovis will accept original research until Friday, July 27th. To learn more about our submission
guidelines, click here and any additional questions may be addressed to Katerina Girginova,
Editor-in-Chief, at: kg295@eorgetown.edu

We look forward to receiving your submissions!
