[INTERN] Gallery Internship at 319 Scholes

Intern

319 Scholes, a non-profit exhibition space in Brooklyn dedicated to promoting works at the intersection of art and technology, is seeking an intern to support the gallery during our fall 2012 season (September-December).

Tasks include:
-Assisting the gallery directors with administrative tasks,
-Greeting and answering questions during gallery hours,
-Maintaining the gallery’s archive on the website, and
-Supporting the installation and promotion of exhibitions.

Requirements:
-A strong interest in and familiarity with the contemporary media art field,
-Past experience with installation preferred but not essential,
-Experience with image editing in Adobe Photoshop is a strong plus.

The intern must be able to commit to 10-15/hrs week starting in September.  The internship is unpaid, but we can offer school credit and a travel stipend.  Please submit cover letter (highlighting relevant experience) and resume to info@319scholes.org.
