We’re looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails developer to help us accelerate our technology platform development. Candidate should be willing to work in NYC or potentially relocate to SF. Candidate should want to join a fun team and add to the culture. We’re looking for someone who can build a killer product and who will also be willing to help the less tech-savvy among us with their technical needs.

Desired skills
– Knowledge of Rails and Ruby, PHP5 is a plus
– Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
– Experience working in a startup environment and on new projects
– Detailed knowledge of performance and scalability, including front-end web browser performance analysis
– Good communication skills
– Ability to learn new skills quickly

Qualifications
– Very comfortable doing full-stack web development
– Knowledge of one or more web application frameworks
– Strong knowledge of SQL, MySQL and databases
– JavaScript skills – knowledge of one or more JavaScript frameworks
– Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
– In-depth knowledge of scalability, systems engineering, design patterns, and algorithms
– Great product sense and design sense; excellent technical judgement and architecture experience
– Comfortable with QA and TDD or willing to learn about it
