Software and Web Developer
Job Description
littleBits is looking for a genius Software and Web Developer to join the team. You must be extremely proficient in both front and back end development. Tasks will include rearchitecting our website, integrating the webstore with the rest of the site, ensuring our products meet web standards and function across all browsers and devices, and developing software and web tools to improve the customer and user experience.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail
- 5+ years experience
- Highly personable and able to work in teams
Technical
- Strong knowledge of CSS, HTML 5 and web standards
- Strong knowledge of PHP, and SQL
- Very proficient in Ruby
- Experience with version control (we use GitHub)
- Experience in development for phones and tablets
- Proficient in integrating functionality with social media
- Proficient in developing/installing metrics for online activity, page views, community activity
- Strong knowledge of wordpress
