Theater project, Nov 12-24
I am looking for assistance on a theater project. Specifically,
we are creating a staging of Hamlet that is, well, computational.
It involves a fair bit of natural language processing and is
authored mainly in Python. The output of all this processing
is not visual (although we do have an extremely talented
scenographer doing dynamic set design) but a script to
be enacted by an actor and a set of synthetic voices. The team
consists of a top-notch director and actor and then computational
lighting, sound and scene designers.
The work period would be from Nov 12-24. You’d be a
collaborator on the text processing, so knowing how to
code in Python is critical. There is a lot of room here for
original contribution and I see you being a creative partner
in this work.
