Ruby on Rails Web Developer:
We’re seeking a highly-motivated Ruby on Rails /JS web-developer for an 8-week paid internship at Ingredient1. Initial responsibilities include building a RoR client-facing and manufacturing-facing web portal for profile management as well as product management, organization and classification. Experience with Ruby, Rails, Backbone and MongoDB is required. Applicants must also have a good understanding of MVC architecture and experience writing unit tests. The ability to function in a small-team environment is an absolute must. Longer-term opportunities are available post-internship.

UX/Designer:
We are very geeky about UX and are looking for someone innovative to help design and otherwise prototype the Ingredient 1 user experience. Front-end development work in HTML and CSS. Initial project will last 8 weeks, but there are longer term opportunities available.
Product Guru Internship:
We are also seeking an organized detail oriented ninja with a passion for food, health, and tech. Day to day tasks will include interfacing with clients, working with database, testing systems, organizing tastings. There is an opportunity to assist on many fronts, depending on interests and experience. The internship is unpaid, but could evolve into a paid position post-internship.
About us: We love food, but food doesn’t always love us. Ingredient 1 is a mobile platform for people on specialty diets that helps them figure out what on the market they can eat. We are a pre-launch start-up based in NYC.
