[CALL] Design Incubation Programme, Hong Kong Design Centre

Nurturing Incubatees
The Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) is a publicly-funded, non-profit organization established in 2001 with the support of the design industry, to fulfill a public mission in (i) promoting and celebrating design excellent; (ii) championing strategic and wider use of design for creating business value and community benefits; and (iii) educating the professions and the community to be resourceful and champions for sustained developments through design and innovation.

To nurture startup companies in the design and creative fields, HKDC offers a comprehensive incubation programme for design professionals to become resourceful entrepreneurs.

Design Incubation Programme (DIP)
The DIP is a 2-year non-profit making programme receiving funding support from the Hong Kong SAR Government.
Throughout this 2-year incubation period, successful applicants (incubatees) will enjoy assistance in many areas including office premises, business development support, and a series of tailor-made training programmes and networking sessions with industrial organizations, academic institutes, professional bodies, and potential business partners.

Start-up companies from the following design disciplines are welcomed to apply:
• Product
• Fashion
• Branding/Packaging
• Jewelry
• Visual/ spatial arts
• Media & communication
• Interior/architecture
