redefine and revolutionize a multi-billion dollar market with a digital media and e-commerce platform that will
bring Colin’s established brand to a much broader audience.
CCE has been funded by some of the industry’s most prestigious investors, both in Silicon Valley and NYC. The
first major milestone in our path is Colin Cowie Weddings, a platform uniquely positioned to reach the modern
wedding-bound consumer. And we’re looking for someone to join our lean and mean startup team. For the right
candidate, this position offers a great deal of latitude. We’re open to full-time employee or contractor to hire
engagements.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The product designer has an eye for clean, minimal and forward-thinking design. You will work with engineers
and product specialists to create web and mobile applications. You will lead information architecture, design user
interfaces, and define user interactions on our digital weddings platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
• Build and maintain product designs including wireframes and final PSDs.
• Partner with engineers and visual designers to build the most compelling user experience solutions.
• Collaborate around the creation of new and existing products and features for the website and mobile
applications.
• Lead and/or participating in immersive user research, concept testing, usability testing, and analytics to
further improve the product and web site design.
• Direct all design/creative elements as they relate to the companies digital presence, including, but not
limited to the web site and content strategy.
Job Qualifications:
• Extensive experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Keynote and or other digital design
and presentation tools.
• 3+ years if experience in design roles at a consumer focused technology company
• HTML/CSS experience is a huge plus.
• Experience designing for mobile products.
• Extensive experience contributing to the full life cycle of one or more digital product lines.
• In-depth knowledge of new media and internet-enabled paradigms such as user-generated contents, social
media and SEO.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• High tolerance for ambiguity matched only by your desire to organize it
• Interest and experience in different types of design (e.g. product design, graphic design, etc)
