iOS User Experience Design Intern
Location: MyCityWay HQ in West Village, New York
Weekly Hours: 20-40
Job Summary
MyCityWay’s Product Design Team is seeking an iOS User Experience Design Intern with interface
and prototyping experience who possesses a passion for iOS platform and apps. The intern will help
visualize and design future enhancements to the MyCityWay product family.
Key Qualifications
• 1+ year applied experience in iOS user interface design or equivalent field.
• Demonstrable understanding of visual and user interface design disciplines and principles.
• Critical eye for attention to detail and pixel perfection.
• Capable of rendering high fidelity layouts and wireframes.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent collaboration skills.
• Ability to deliver high quality work on tight schedules.
• Willing to learn new skills on the job.
• Proficiency with Mac OS X.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop in particular) and other design tools.
• Nice to have:
– Familiar with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
– Rapid prototyping experience.
– Familiar with OmniGraffle Pro.
– Capable of developing interactive prototypes of new ideas.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
