ITP Students: How do you produce a high quality video in under $300? That’s the challenge we’re hoping you can help us solve.
I am an NYU alum working on a project to make scientific research more open and transparent (“Open Science”). Our team recently won a startup competition and are looking to put together an animated “explainer” video of about 1-2 minutes. We want to get your creative ideas (and ideally help) on how to get this done on a limited budget. Here’s some details:
We can provide a script and someone to do the voiceover, and are looking for a student with experience in the following:
1) Graphics/Illustrations
2) Animation/Editing using Adobe After Effects (or other software of your choice)
Here’s some examples of explainer videos we love — these were professionally produced, but I know there’s some talented students out there:
The explainer video will be an important tool to help us explain the concept, and ultimately the overall project has the potential to significantly advance scientific research. So your work would definitely be contributing to something bigger, while also building your portfolio.
